based on your own profile, abilities and talents!

Please note:

Only offer rewards that you are sure you can and are able to provide.

Better no reward at all than a reward promised but not delivered!

Spell out the details carefully: duration, location, quantity, etc. It is easy to send a PDF file to any number of people but rewards such as Expertise sharing, Activities based on common interest, can only be offered to a limited number of Backers.

£5: Your photo on StudentBackr Gallery

For £10 or more, your Backer can opt to have their photo on our Backers page.~~Prerequisite: Backer must be registered on the site with a profile picture.”

£25: Academic publication

For £10 or more, your Backer may choose to receive a PDF file of a academic document written by you: Master’s thesis, essay, market study… Details to be determined (title, subject, length, delivery date) depending on your abilities/fields of interest/expertise!”

£30: Personal Thanks

For £30 or more, your Backer may opt to appear on the Thank you page of your project’s blog or Facebook page, etc. or else be mentioned in the acknowledgements section of your Master’s thesis or any other academic document.”

£50: Helping Hand for a non-profit organization

From £ 50 upwards, your Backer may choose to have you offer YOUR time to a non-profit organization of your choice: “”the Backer supports the Student, the Student supports a non-profit organization”” The reward goes directly to the non-profit organization.
– Give a hand for 3 meal distributions or a food donation for a national non-profit organization helping homeless people
– Dedicate 2 afternoons to sorting/recycling clothes and toys for a local association.”

£50: Expertise sharing

For £ 50 or more, your Backer may opt to benefit from your expertise in a particular field.
– You are a real pro with MS Office or programming? Offer one hour of your time to help with HTML or Excel
– You are doing a Master’s in Law? Offer your legal expertise
– You are good at writing? Offer to proofread/edit a short document: a business letter, CV, job application… (Specify the number of pages/words).
– You are an engineer in aeronautics? Offer a group course on «How to overcome your fears during flight turbulence» (specify venue, duration, etc. of this course).”

£50: Deferred Helping Hand

For £ 50 upwards, your Backer may choose for you to make a financial donation to a non-profit organization of your choice once your studies are completed (this is a variation of “Helping Hand for a non-profit organization”),“”the Backer supports the Student, the Student financially supports a non-profit organization”.”
– You commit to make a donation (equal to or more than the amount you received) to a non-profit organization once the time comes and your studies are completed!

£100: Back again

For £ 100 upwards, your Backer may opt for you to become a future Backer! “”The Backer supports the Student, the Student supports another Student.
– You commit to make a donation (equal to, or more than ☺, the amount you received) to another Student through StudentBackr, once the time comes and your studies are completed!
– This information will be posted on our Backers page.

£250 or more:

£100, £200, £700… the choice is yours, depending on what interests you! (short flying lesson, a tennis lesson, pick whatever suits you best).
Offer your Backer the chance to spend some time sharing your hobby:
– Pilot Trainee? A tour of your flying school or a short flying lesson will appeal to many Backers… (give details: venue, duration, aircraft type, etc.)
– President of your school’s wine-tasting club? Offer your Backer a tasting session with some top quality wines!
– Pianist? Invite your Backer to one of your concerts!~~
– Member of a theatrical troupe? Have your Backer attend some of your rehearsals and/or live shows.”
